Fatima-Ezzahra, also known as “Tima,” is a talented artist who expresses her deepest thoughts and emotions in creative and unique ways. Born in Fes and raised in Casablanca, she carries the rich tapestry of Moroccan heritage in every brushstroke. Casablanca’s vibrant mix of French, Andalusian, and Moroccan influences—where tradition meets modern life—has deeply shaped her artistic vision. The city’s festivals, handmade artistry, and striking architecture inspired her lifelong passion for storytelling through art.
Since childhood, drawing was her refuge, but painting became her true calling in 2014 when she moved to the U.S. There, she discovered a love for turning emotions into color and texture. Her first painting, a heartfelt gift, marked the start of a self-taught journey full of curiosity and dedication.
Fatima’s work goes beyond portraiture, exploring identity, culture, love, and resilience. Her paintings invite viewers to pause and reflect on the beauty and complexity of life—the light and shadow, joy and struggle. Each piece is a meditation on gratitude, faith, and the enduring human spirit.
She has sold many artworks online and had the honor of showing her work in Poughkeepsie, New York, among other places. Her goal is to gain wider recognition and one day see her art displayed around the world. So much time, effort, and emotion go into each canvas—when you look at her paintings, pause and reflect. Fatima works mainly in mixed media—including acrylics, resin, and impasto techniques—layering texture and meaning to create emotional, immersive experiences. Her journey continues with plans to offer limited-edition prints and custom pieces, sharing these stories beyond the canvas.
